Project READY team visits ICBA to advance sustainable agriculture
Dubai, UAE – May 26, 2025 – The Project READY team visited the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) in Dubai to explore innovative solutions for sustainable farming in saline and arid regions. Led by ICBA’s Director General, Dr. Tarifa Alzaabi, the team toured the center’s genebank and learned about climate-resilient crops like quinoa and Salicornia, aiming to integrate ICBA’s biosaline agriculture expertise into their youth-focused initiatives to empower young farmers and enhance food security.
